Not for one with a milled receiver and heavy barrel they don't! $699 is for a stamped receiver and standard barrel.

The aim surplus are all sold out AFAIK, and the $699 one is the stamped version not the milled. I'm torn between the two. Milled would be nice, but not sure I'm every really going to be pro enough to be able to tell the difference in actual use. I also prefer the stamped versions stock over the milled version.

Where can you find the arsenal for $890.00?

Prepper Gun Shop. That's actually where I bought my SLR107 from a while back and I found them good to do business with. I believe the price was slightly higher at the time.

I have a WW from back before DDI took over. Fortunately I got one of the ones without issues and it runs well, and my understanding is that DDI has upped the quality level. I don't think you'd be disappointed in the rifle, and I do also have an Arsenal.

That being said, one thing to consider is that you can get an Arsenal SLR107 for $890 right now. You get downgraded/upgraded (depending on your personal opinion of the subject) to a stamped receiver, but get the following benefits for a mere $90.

-Name recognition that will result in better resale value in the future.
-CHF Steyr barrel.
-Folding stock. Some like them, some don't, but the fact is that they will cost you a few hundred dollars and some work to add down the line.

My WW was $600 when Arsenals were well over $1K, so the choice was simple for me. If I were buying right now, I'd pay the extra money and grab an Arsenal though...just my $0.02.
