These guns are POOR QUALITY guns. Factory new have rusty parts installed and covered with oil's to try and hide. Returned to Weatherby and they blamed the retailer and refused to replace bolt carrier group! Luckily retailer made good, Weatherby customer service is HORRIBLE, my contact was JC, he couldn't care less about service, needs a fast food job.

I just cant see buying one of these when the Mossberg 930s are going for $30-$40 more.
Pretty much all Semi-auto shotguns are made in Turkey now, which isn't a bad thing. Any turd hole country can fart out a bunch of reliable firearms (Just look at Romanian WASRs).

I've looked long and hard at Waetherby and Tristar shotguns, and they seem like a nice product. The fit and finish on the mall ninja stocks leaves something to be desired, but the shotgun comes with a lot of nice features.

That being said, pricing these close to what a Mossberg 930 goes for (and competing with the massive aftermarket accessories available) is really a bad decision. The Mossbergs are likely made in a factory down the street from these, but at least you have tons of options (like rifled barrels) to tailor the gun to what you are hunting for.

If you really like the skull graphics on this model, or you simply can't afford an extra $30, then don't let this post put you off on buying one of these. This is a really good deal for this shotgun when compared to other stores. 18.5" barrels give you a really handy feel to how quickly you point at your target.

If you are new to shotguns, the barrel length plays very little role in shot patterns compared to the chokes that you use on the end. It's nice to have a short barrel with a good choke when it comes to pointing the business end around walls or brush; less gun to get stuck on things.
