Thanks for the update! I was about to order this because I saw the description and it had the folding stock. I already own this version...lol.
I take back my thumbs up. The original posting was for the folder.
They changed the text between the time I posted and now. This is the exact same price as Classic and it is not a deal at $799.
Anyone know why they're coming in without the welded folder now?
Typically, these type of changes are cost-driven. Molot has to sell it as a fixed stock, they used up all their inventory on folding stocks (that cost more both in material and labor [gotta have a man to spot weld that stock]), found a way to manufacturer it cheaper and started building them that way. They save cost on the rear trunion (no folding stock switch), receiver (no extra holes for the folding stock switch or ambi safety), ambi safety (gone) and labor. Manufacturing 101.
Thumbs up at $799!!! This is back to the lowest "sale" price that used to be the norm before the Ukraine deal.
Still coming in from Russia, they are not banned like Saga 12 for some reason.
The description here is incorrect. This is not a welded open hinged stock. This is a fixed tubular stock with a completely different rear trunion. Also no ambi safety.
