We have these at work and they are pretty handy for many uses....not directly gun related though. Beware, some android phones have their mini usb plug reversed (from the industry standard) so you could end up having one where the camera and screen face the same way. Might want to double check against your particular phone make / model.

This is a smokin' deal on the XR [selling for $40 less than the basic model did a year ago], but of course, the killer app for these that made them pertinent to the shooting community [the Inteliscope+ mount & software] went T.U. & even if you can find one N.O.S. lying on a shelf somewhere, it's useless because the developer made them !@#$!@#$ *mandatory* registration before the software will work! No software, no reticle integrated with the Seek image. No reticle, no using this as a low-$ thermal sight.

Frankly, w/o the Inteliscope, I don't see Seek selling any more of these to the shooting community: you're better off getting one of the Torrey Pines sights...
