Description

PMC is gaining popularity in the US market and has now come out with their own 5.56x45 penetrator round. This M855 steel core 62 gr FMJ round is manufactured to mil-spec and offers great penetration with the added benefit of being more cost effective than many of the American manufactured rounds. It is loaded to NATO specs and is NOT intended for use in commercial or bolt-action rifles chambered for 223 Remington ammo - but it is perfect for your AR15! Please check with your gun manufacturer prior to purchasing this ammo (most AR15's are fine, but it is best to check first!). Each round is brass-cased, boxer-primed, non-corrosive, and reloadable. It is both economical and very reliable.

$600.01 with shipping and tax. Quit posting crap from lucky gunner without checking shipping and tax charges first, FFS! I literally bought 1k of the same ammo for $480 shipped last week from another vendor.

Although some vendors HAVE been gouging, not EVERYONE has been gouging. This has nothing to do with a higher cost to produce. This has specifically to do with a huge increase in demand. If you've never learned supply-side economics, this situation only makes sense as "gouging." In general, it's not. It's that demand is GREATLY exceeding supply, which drives the price up to due to scarcity.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supply-side_economics...

Do a little reading and educate yourself. Then this situation makes sense. Those who have stocked up well need to stop purchasing and hold until after the demand spike ends. There are a TON of people who are either new gun owners or are panic-buying because they didn't stock up before COVID-19. Let those people pay way too much and buy what they need. Once they've purchased, prices will go back down due to a reduction in demand.

I get that some vendors are actually price-gouging. That's bound to happen. But you can't paint all the vendors red in this situation. There is a legitimate reason why pricing has gone up.

The ammo scare is ending, wait it out. The gouging needs to end. Higher cost to produce now? BS. Buy when the correction happens, which will be soon. This is 855 people, not exactly low Match grade by any means.

i would not buy this ammo from lucky gunner if it was half this price. gouge on 22 lr and 9 mm back in 2013 while other retailers got stuff in and was fair price . lucky gunner is second on my list of never to buy from and guess who is number one . Cheaper Than Dirt never buy from either.

These folks ran the price of ammo up, way up during the "banic". I bought a lot of stuff in the past from them, but never again.

two weeks ago SG was selling this for $.70 a round. I think I would wait and see how low they will go.

These guys are douche bag gougers... they fell right into that category being one of the first to jack up the green-tip at the beginning of the scare.

Not only that, but they are buying Wal Mart ZQ1 at $9.97 and reselling it at $22. Maggots!

No, they're buying directly from MKE. Wal*Mart is selling off the rest of their ZQI ammo at a loss, which is why there is such a large price difference. It used tip be almost as expensive at Wal*Mart.

And don't forget these jagoffs are in the same gouging class as CTD when things get short. I wouldn't give them a dime. Ever.

Totally agree! And from now on, lets not call CTD, CTD. Lets call them LTD. L for lower than dirt! Because that's what they are an how they treat the gun community when things get short!

I always call them Cheaper Than Diamonds. LTD seems appropriate as well though.

To high but they are known for gouging. Don't forget they charge $90.00 a brick for $20.00 .22 ammo.

$0.37 a round for New 5.56 penetrators is a very good price these days. I would almost guarantee we never see less than that again. However, when you add shipping, price per round goes up a bit.

Yea, people were saying that about AR-15's a year ago. The ONLY thing driving up the price of bullets is demand. The basic elements that go into making them are not increasing in price. The manufacturers have not increased their prices, it's simply the distributors and the dealers that are laughing all the way to the bank. But believe what you want, it's your money.

I will wait. The prices have dropped steadily since last summer when this stuff was selling for $1200.00 per 1000 rounds on gunbroker. Won't be long you will be able to get it for .30 a round.
