I have this Math Champion model. I prefer it over Smith 686+. Just shoots better in my hands.
Notable differences after I complete tear down:
1. Target Crown
2. Slab side barrel
3. Contored cylinder
4. Chamfered cylinder holes
5. FO front sights
6. Hogue wood grips are the best.
7. The hammer is shimmed .005 both sides.
8. The trigger has bosses on both sides ( act as shim/aligment/tighter tolerances).
All around perfection. I average consistent 4.5lb SA trigger pulls. Just over 10lb DA.
