"...overall length of just 6.37", and weighs in at a modest 23 ounces."

A Taurus PT-111 G2 in 9mm 12+1 is shorter at 6.3", and also weighs 23 ounces. The S&W 40 caliber 6+1 Shield is shorter yet at 6.1" and lighter at 19 ounces empty. The XD-S subcompact 45 ACP 5+1 is also 6.3" and 21.5 ounces. The Taurus is over $100 cheaper when on sale. One of the coolest things about all of these is that if you fire a round, all you need do is pull the trigger again.

Buy a real gun with a magazine, preferably in a worthwhile caliber. :)

Yes I would like a flamethrower that deafens me and has the ballistics of a slingshot please. I guess if you wanted you could press it up against the bad guy and set his shirt on fire with the fireball.
