You are aware I pay to post these add's correct? This isnt a shill account. My user name has always been the same and the add is marked as a dealer listing..
How is this a deal when you can buy a refurbished G23 slide, NiB coated, with a .40S&W barrel for $190 shipped? That includes the actual slide itself.
With this deal do you have to send in your slide? And then you get goofy looking fish gills cut into it? What a crock. Terrible deal.
I actually just sign up on this page just to see what was new and though maybe something might catch my eye. I really think that the slide work is extremely nice and the cerakote job looks good in that color plus the added benefit of the protection that the coating provides.
In regards to the user that posted a negative comment about it. I ran into the older posting because of that user. I have been on this site for literally a hour max and found several negative post by this person.
I decided to read this users reasoning for posting negative comment. After reading is post it is completely obvious that this person has no clue that his comments are actually a dead give away to me that they have ZERO knowledge about firearms.
This user could really use serious education on just about every aspect of the firearms.
I actually read one comment about a barrel he made from a different seller. Basically saying he wouldn't have touch the barrel unless it was CHROME LINED OR COLD HAMMER FORGED. I can almost guarantee that this person can't give me one correct reason why he wants a barrelCHROME LINED OR COLD HAMMER FORGED. I will further that with they most likely don't have a clue how either of the barrel proccess are even done or in what platform they are good or bad for.
I like the custom slide work and i hate it when people learned most of the firearm knowledge from a video game or the bullshit that i read on some of these forums on the web. I honestly didn't know that there are literally hundreds of thousands TIER 1 OPERATORS AND DEVGRU TEAM GUYS OUT THERE THAT SIT ONE THE COMPUTER ALL DAY LIKE THIS USER AND POST INCORRECT SHIT ALL OVER THE INTERNET! AMAZING WHAT YOU LEARN...
One more thought - DOA: Stop using fake shill accounts to post this bullshit "deal" mark it as a dealer-posted, as we all know you (or a friend of the firm) posted this garbage.
Also, "slides should be stripped of parts prior to mailing in"? Really? Can you make this any worse of a deal? There's literally 50 cerakote firms out there, and ALL of them offer better imputed pricing. In case you don't understand the meaning of the word imputed, I'm assuming that the mill work costs around $65-90, meaning that your cerakote is priced over $100. Why would anyone pay that when there's so many other great firms that offer similar services for less?
