This veteran-designed and U.S.-manufactured accessory enhances accuracy and reduces felt recoil when using an AR-style pistol.

What I don't get is how can the ATF just deem something illegal without consulting a higher party of judges for a ruling? Doesn't seem legal constitutional
Much like like the FDA the government puts so called "experts" in charge of interpreting laws rather than a bunch of lawyers who ran for Congress.
How can the ATF? By authority of the National Firearms Act.

to be fair, we had a good thing going with this "loophole" sig brace. Go and complain to all the knuckleheads on IG, facebook, and You tube, etc.. showing off how well they can shoulder and fire these legal "SBR's" .. that coupled with all sorts of "how to's" instructional videos on building a legal sbr, and what not... We just cant leave a good thing alone and quietly enjoy it, can we? SIG and the ATF really tried to let us have our cake and eat it too... j

yes they are still legal... but now your flirting with constructive possession or intent depending on if that brace brushes against your shoulder when shooting... some one will be made an example of. just saying our pistol upper sales have slowed down significantly since the announcement that friday... could be the snow storm as well... who knows
It's pretty difficult to 'accidentally' shoulder one of these things with your forearm through it and the velcro strap fastened.

anyway the new Phase 5 tube is much nicer than the previous version.
