Description
CCI is known for making some of the best rimfire ammunition on the market and the Quiet-22 ammunition is no exception. This quiet round produces a report that is 1/4 the perceived noise level compared to standard velocity 22 Long Rifle rounds; making this round perfect for backyard plinking, youth shooting, or shooting in areas where noise may be a concern. This round is ideal for shooters using bolt-actions or single shot rifles (but is perfectly safe in semi-automatics although it might not completely cycle the action). This subsonic ammunition is a perfect choice for shooting through your favorite rimfire suppressor. CCI Quiet ammunition is new production and non-corrosive.

Reduced my shipping cost by ordering the multi-tool (Product #: 531544) along with the ammo. You may want to give it a try and see what it does with your order. Apparently if you purchase anything that is under the "free shipping" menu it will reduce the cost of shipping ammo.
Well, I'm in for 2, plus a keychain blade gizmo, for $73 shipped (or $0.07/rd).
I have a couple semiautos, we'll see if it can cycle. I've seen some reports that it can with some models. One of mine is a High Standard Sportking, which is said I should stay away from High Velocity, stick to standard.
I also have an old H&R Sportsman revolver and a Springfield bolt action which can eat anything, so if nothing else I've got those guns covered and can save the hotter ammo for the rest.
Back in stock. Picked up 1000 rounds and a credit card multi tool and rounded up to the NRA for $73 shipped. I wish 22lr was still 4-5 cents per round, but I'm afraid those days are gone. 7.3 CPR is an okay price considering that the market has proven that even 9-10 CPR ammo will sell out.

Looks like they dropped the price $10 from a few weeks ago. Was $39.99. Good sign, possibly, but I won't get my hopes up.
$16 shipping for 2 boxes. kills the deal for me.

Happy shooting.
Just tried it out with my Ruger 22/45 (semi). Requires manual cycling but shoots fine.
What do you think of the noise level? I know it's subjective, but...
I shoot this stuff indoors into a .22 trap (don't do this unless you have a way to control the lead dust that WILL be everywhere) and I wear hearing protection when I shoot it out of an M&P 22. Out of a Marlin Model 60 or XT-22 there's no need for hearing protection.
Outdoors, I don't know if you would NEED hearing protection with a pistol but I would still wear it.
Definitely noticed a difference but not AS quiet as I thought it would be--definitely not ninja quiet haha. I was using a pistol, so I think with a bolt-action 22 rifle it would be much more quiet for sure.
I recommend trying it out for sure.
You could try Aguila Colibri and Super Colibri also. Although not recommended in a rifle, I have used it in rifles. I did have one round get stuck about 1.5" from the muzzle of a 20" 10/22. These are 20 grain bullets propelled by priming compound only. Colibri at 420ish fps and the Super at 500ish. VERY low powered but even quieter than CCI Quiet.
Bought some last summer. Wouldn't cycle 10-22 takedown or SR22 even with suppressor. Sold the rest. I know there are people who figure out how to make the action smoother on 10-22 to make this work but I am not one to start carving up guns....
Not for Semi-

i ordered some of this stuff. you guys think this is any good? is it really any quieter than the usual stuff?
CCI Quiet is 710 fps. It is definitely quieter than even subsonic, less than 1050 roughly for sub's. It is not as quiet as a .22 with a suppressor. Although rounds that break the sound barrier, even suppressed, do give a "crack". Now run this stuff with a suppressor and it is Hollywood quiet, I mean, hammer goes click, bullet goes whack as it hits the target. It will not run any of my semi-autos. But, my 10/22 with a Volquartsen extractor (helps to pull out the empties) is almost as quiet as a bolt action. The bolt does comeback slightly so you hear some "clack" from the bolt closing. Hope this answers your question.
this helps big time. Can't wait to try it out. Haven't ever tried out quiet or subsonic ammo before.
This round is ideal for shooters using bolt-actions or single shot rifles (but is perfectly safe in semi-automatics although it might not completely cycle the action). Hope you don't have a semi- ?

Website still has in stock. As of 1610 EST today.
It depends on what you are using it for. It is pretty useless for even target or hunting, as the bullet drop will be way off what you normally are sighted in for, Also it may not kill a small animal at 100 yards.
Pepper your angus for the shipping charge. $16, LOL
