With a 10 rd mag this is a loser even at say $150. Try again please.

The length of pull is just plain ridiculous on this carbine. On top of basically every shortcoming others have mentioned. I much prefer the Sub-2000. I just think they missed the boat on this one, and yes, regulations regarding importation had something to do with it. Oh wait, build it here Taurus! I likes to buy American when I can.

pass - it uses proprietary mags. If it used 92 beretta ones or better yet glock -these would be selling like hotcakes.

This price is about half MSRP and it's STILL not worth buying over a Hi-Point. You could drop the price another $100 and the same would still hold true.

Dear Taurus,

WTF?!?!?!!!!

Sincerely,
The World

Somebody needs to make a 30 round mag for this thing and I'll buy one. Ten rounds is anemic (I realize it was done b/c of import restrictions).

What they should have done was make it glock magazine compatible and it have been worth something. Glock 17 34 round magazines are available everywhere. Instead they made it so you have to buy their magazines that you will never find and holds less than your standard double stack pistol. This is makes this useless. You can get a Kel-Tek sub-2000 for 450.00. so much better

Beretta made the CX-4 storm that meets these requirements. I took a longshot guess and assumed Taurus would never get a 30 round mag so I bought the cx-4. The CX-4 is nice though it does have the really short rail and a crap-tastic trigger (which is gonna be fixed when I ship my lower to SierraPapa.
