Ok someone help me here... I'm a bit "lost" on this price. Haven't the VEPR 54r been typically around 900? What makes this one worth $1400? The G2 and furniture?? I'd love to have a 54r, but this price is really a bit, confusing.

Arms of America has these in the original vepr style for $1200. I posted it but the post is not showing up.

It's 5rd mags only for these right now.

I concur with the below, not a huge deal. The finished furniture by Ironwood Designs goes for $400 and its a stronger laminate, and is supposedly a better finish. You can get the Tabuk flash hider they are using for $40. Get a VEPR for $800-$900 and you have a better package for about the same.

Not a deal! Has been the same price since they went up $400 right after all that crap about Russian sanctions. Word has it Russian companies are gonna start selling on other countries labels though that is just rumor. Upside is it is a cool gun and you can shoot cheap CORROSIVE ammo though it the down side is the price which is reflective of Obozo sanctions and will hopefully be lifted once somebody with a brain is in. Most the ammo is corrosive so no firing a few rounds like I do here and there then putting the gun up "slightly dirty". Mags cost an arm and a leg plus I think they are only 10rnds(though I think I read about somebody somehow making a 20 out of two 10's which are about $50ea last time I looked)For this price you could buy a 308 fal with a few hundred extra for reloading supplies , a M1A1 or a Ptr 91 with extra for reloading supplies. To me it's just not worth it at this price not to mention transfer fees dros and if the LGS is paranoid about taxes. Just my .02 for what it's worth. If you own this rifle would love to hear more.
