This U.S.A made ProMag magazine is constructed of a proprietary Dupont Zytel derived high impact polymer, with a steel insert for added rigidity to the feed lips. The spring is constructed of chrome silicone wire for added reliability.

I've never found a Glock aftermarket magazine that works even half as good as the original. I've tried many Promags and I've never had a good experience with any. When brand new they perform fair. But they don't hold up and always end up in the trash can, without exception.
In this case spending less on a Promag will cost you more in the long run, it's really that simple.
As much as Botach annoys me, their Glock 17 high capacity magazine deal for $25 shipped is as good as it's going to get. If you refuse to buy from Botach, other vendors have the same deal from time to time.
