Only review I could find online states:

"I purchased this revolver in June. I figured that I could use it for fun and “taking car of” rabbits….Well for one….accuracy is horrible. The gun is FULL of flaws. The worst is what I have had to carve out of my left index finger! The machining is VERY poor with horrible tolerances. After about 100 rounds of Federal Bulk (by the way, I DID do a full initial cleaning out of the box) I loaded her back up to throw a few more rounds at the ol’ spinner and BAM!!!!!!! I looked at my black left index finger confused. It was solid black with 6 dots of blood starting to come out! I unloaded the pistol and looked at the barrel and cylinder and could see where the bullet was split at! I couldn’t believe it! I just got shrapnelized!! Needless to say, I cleaned out my finger of lead (I still have a little powder in it still) and took pictures and sent them to SGS/Firestorm. i will let you know any future info……As for the gun……DO NOT BUY! I love my bersa 380, But this thing makes a PINTO look like a BMW!!!!!!!!!"

I have not handled one personally but they are imported by the same company as Bersa which are also made in Argentina, & Bersa firearms are great quality for the price. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss these as pot metal throw aways, but if it makes you feel better to pay twice the price for Taurus or Charter Arms then go ahead.

I'm not saying I would buy this gun myself, but compare this to other guns in its class: a beaten-half-to-death police trade-in S&W Model 10 will set you back at least twice as much and also is not rated for +P .38. Seems like an ideal beater to me, with revolver fundamentals protecting it from some issues that might be caused by neglecting an autoloader.

S&W states that post-1958 K frame revolvers can be used with +P ammunition.

I would love a review of this gun. A 38 revolver is perfect for so many people. Would be great in the night stand or glove box.

pot metal special for those who only need to shoot 50 shots for the life of the gun? To be fair 500 shots and a professional gun inspection review and I would buy one for about $129. I bet they tested it with +P and it failed. I'd rather spend about $350 on a 357 or 44 special though. Sometimes engineers just need to tell greedy CEO's it's not going to work before they invest in POS like this. Every cheap POS firearm I see come out that is overpriced like this one is going to get the hammer from now on - as in boycott, we really need to send a message that "NEW" generation firearms are NOT going to be cheap overpriced junk, gunsumers are not fools, take your FASTER, BETTER, CHEAPER to another market outside of firearms. At least Hi-Point is +P torture tested AND a good price.

The price may be a reflection of the country of manufacture. Outside of the US, prices DROP significantly through over half of the world.
