The standard is great in my PPKS 22. Fine for suppressors. I'll probably get more.

mediocre ammo sold at a premium. No thanks I will wait for CCI ammo!

If you can catch it in stock the CCI Standard is 50 cents more /box of 50 from the same Vendor. I have no complaints with either flavor, but seem to get slightly tighter groups with the CCI. As always, YMMV

As always, Scotty the Shilling Stockboy will happily tell you how to spend your money to support his employer.

However, some of us don't like to send our money to businesses that cater to anti-gun sentiment whenever they feel the winds blowing public opinion shift in that direction.

I've shot many bricks of Aguila and I've never been disappointed. For 7 cents pr delivered on an order of $25 or more, it's not a bad deal at all.

Folks, y'all need to stop supporting Academy in each and every way... I'm gonna assume that y'all don't know what Academy did in response to the Orlando shooting. Google it...... They "hid" all of their "modern sporting rifles" ar's, etc, so they couldn't/wouldn't offend anyone. If you know that, and still continue to post their deals, and support their stores........ well, heck, you might as well go ahead and vote for Hillary as well

So, you're saying that because Academy *still sold these rifles*, but chose not to openly display while the sheeple being manipulated by the statist media were all in an uproar over them, you're boycotting Academy? Yeah, that's the way to keep a vendor in business! Are you boycotting Wal-Mart too, because they've chosen to stop selling firearms *entirely* [not just certain flavors] in particular locales hostile to that practice [CA, etc?]

I hope so, I wouldn't want to think you were a hypocrite... ::)

Indeed. But doubtful a boycott will noticeably hurt them, just like the many other yellow belly companies that caved into irrational fear and liberal propaganda over the past few years. Just 1 more place to avoid forever on my list. Luckily for every such shameful company there are exceedingly more and better places to do business with. If nothing else it is a personal moral victory.

It's related to the events spoken of above.

Meanwhile, I'm off to Academy to pick up some (more) 22. Maybe this flavor, maybe something else,,, Plenty of selection in stock at each store at same/better prices than you see posted here.

Could just as easily walk into one today and walk out with an AR.

Oh no!!!!!!!!!!! Is that the 'tender spot' !?!?!!

To me, I couldn't care less and it's certainly not something worth getting ones knickers in a twist over, yet some have chosen to do just that.

Yes, I do have / shoot AR's. Not many,,, just a 'Sporty', and 2 others assembled ~primarily~ with Anderson Rifle components.

Thanks OP. About the same price as Thunderbolts with store pickup at Cabelas once you pay tax and better quality ammo. Reviews I have read say it is great out of bolt guns and okay out of semi-autos. I plan to shoot it with my bolt guns, so it should perform well.

Pretty good. This stuff shoots nice. I have to pay tax because there are Academy's in my state.

Good ammo, free shipping over $25... unfortunately limited to 10 boxes, but $40 for 500 rounds and free shipping... Not bad!

Current limit is 10 box's. Not a bad deal for a brick w/ Eley prime and free shipping.

They will only sell two boxes at a time, BUT you can purchase more than one ammo type. I ordered six types of 22LR, 12 boxes total PLUS one box of 22WMR. Shipping was a little steep ($14 to Wisconsin), but this way, I can find out which ammo type my firearm "likes" the most. They will not ship to the following states/ locations: AA, AE, AK, AP, CA, CT, DC, HI, IL, MA, NY.
