Description
The PMX is the latest SMG developed by Beretta. The extensive use of polymer materials and light alloy metals allowed the design of a compact, lightweight, yet rugged structure, one which is versatile and easy to deploy in combat. The major components: barrel and bolt, are machined from special high-strength steel, specifically designed to withstand the rigors of harsh environments and abusive conditions. The lightweight and ergonomically designed stock can be folded by simply pushing a button. The oversized magazine release button is positioned on both sides of the sub-machine gun, while the cocking handle can be easily revered to be comfortably operated from either side. The PMX uses a translucent, lightweight, and yet resistant, 30-round polymer magazine allowing the visual count of the rounds present in the mag. The Beretta PMX is equipped with Picatinny rails (MIL-STD-1913) positioned on top, bottom and on the sides of the receiver.

3 reasons this gun would not sell as fast.
1) Coming out at the wrong time. The pistol brace is still not possible.
2) Beretta does not sell the stock for it. For people like me, SBR it.
3) The price is a bit high compared to other blowback pistols, CZ Scorpion ($600 with rebate), and Grand Power Stribog (700-800). Same price as GHM9.
Good point. The GHM9 can be found for the same price and it is very high quality. B&T are craftsmen.

That’s an acceptable price and with more becoming available the price may come down. I’d buy it because it’s already in use with militaries around the world. Without the full auto feature. But a BFS could become available if it gains popularity.

This looks like they just made a slightly modernized Tec-9. I'd maybe pay $599 for this. Beretta is out of their minds thinking a basic, straight blowback 9mm is going to sell for $1,399.
Yeahhhhh, they need to price this around the scorpion and stribog price points to even make sense.
