As far as Turkish guns go, I am sure these are every bit as good as the rest of them. That being said considering what the rest of them sell for, these are a bit overpriced. You can usually get discontinued or clearance purchases elsewhere on the net for around 199 to 250. I prefer not to pay more for these budget but very capable Turkish guns. I have canik, tisas, AHSS, Girsan, and some funky looking 12 gauge sg. They all work. Also lots of domestic manufactured firearms as well.

The 1st pic with the 5" ported slide, is NOT the one your buying. It is the one with the 4.4" barrel and Riton MPRD2 red dot on it.

Looks like a Riton MPRD

Yes it's the Riton "MPRD2". Nice optic for a package gun. Especially at this price. I bought this pistol and red dot here. Shipped fast, no problem. The red dot alone runs for $90-$125...

In my experience, not “top notch,” but the Turks make a firearm that works well enough. No Turkish version of any firearm I’ve ever owned was as good as the original it was cloned from, but they functioned well enough as a clone. In every case, I’d rather just buy the original.

But the Turks make a good, serviceable firearm.

EDIT: Realized I should qualify “as good as” from my statement above. Finish is acceptable, but typically not as good as what they’re mimicking. Functionally, I’ve encountered a few instances where burrs and rough edges needed to be fixed for proper cycling. Materials are often where corners are cut to reduce cost, and there aren’t a lot of aftermarket suppliers for most Turkish firearms which would allow for changing of grips, panels, furniture, etc. also, magazines are difficult to find.

Excellent guns. In fact after I spent 6 months testing and shooting them personally, I now issue them to my armed guards within my security company. I'm sorry to the fan boys but they shoot every bit as accurate, reliable and usually most find them more comfortable than any factory Glock at almost half the cost. If God forbid we end up in a shooting, our guns as do yours go into evidence therefore I was looking for a super reliable, accurate pistol that I can issue out and not have to spend $600-800 per gun. The SAR9 fit that bill perfect and has more than Impressed me! If your not a gun snob who hates foreign guns, then I definitely recommend the SAR9.
Btw I am a firearms instructor and state certified armed security license certifier with 20+years experience.

Buy some hi-points if you value cost of issued firearms for your “security company” over the lives you employ

Oh wow haven't heard your snarky ass remarks in a long time woohoo! They finally let you out? If you've read my other reviews on these you'd understand my remarks a bit clearer. It's ok though I'll let it go as I'm sure being locked away in the institution for so long skewed your view of everything. But just as an FYI I spent a full 6 months testing and shooting 1000's of rounds thru these pistols prior to issuing them to my guards. I would never issue sub par firearms based solely on cost alone. These pistols are 100% reliable and 90% of my guards prefer the feel and control they have with these over the Glock or the S&W M&P series pistols both of which we used previously. Although I am a professional in the industry for 28 years, a state certified firearms instructor for 11 of them, a state certified security license instructor for 20+, a state certified armed executive manager and a state certified security special officer, you still would know more than I right? Your comments are ignorant. You know nothing about me, my business or my company so please man, take your meds and chill will ya.
