I'd be very interested in seeing how these pistols stack up against the PSA dagger series? The thing that kinda feels odd is these "80%" kits were to not have a serial number and paper trail but this defeated that purpose. So is it worth buying a complete, serialized pistol that requires lelag transfer and background check?

I have the 80 lower but not the slide and as Bpuff 57 said economics are better than a Glock especially the stippling on the grip if that’s what you wanna call it it’s really good It’s got a tactical kind of feel to it, as for the trigger it’s a bit mushy to me (of course I Put it together myself so that could be on me) but it’s gotten a little better overtime, as for the flat trigger face (as the one shown on this handgun) I would not use it for defense because if your finger is slightly too high on the trigger it will not pull:( I need to change mine out for the curved one and try it out to see if it’s better I just haven’t done it yet, I put a cheap KM tactical 17 slide with an RMR Mount and slide cut out on the polymer 80 lower and it also ejects the shells straight up in the air and in my face and head and occasionally on my hands, I would not use it for the defense just kind of a plinking gun.

Edit: Update, I changed out my flat face trigger for the curved one and happy to report that it works fine anyway you put your finger on it:), so if you do plan on buying this be sure and buy a curved trigger also.

I mean, it’s an “OK” pistol. It’s accurate enough, most of them cycle just fine with most ammo, and the ergonomics are better (IMHO) than a traditional Glock.

Some owners report issues with spent brass ejecting directly up into their face and head - as opposed to off to the right side of the pistol. I personally had this issue with one in the past, but swapping to a Gen 4 ejector fixed the issue for me.

Reliability is the primary concern to me. There are enough horror stories (not the norm, but also not an insignificant percentage) that I’ve relegated mine to range toys and SHTF handouts to neighbors.

If I was choosing a personal defense pistol in this price range, I’d either go with Arex Delta 2 or Canik TP9. But that’s me.
