The MARS-H lower receiver, also known as the original LMT .308 Modular Weapon System (MWS) lower receiver brings with it an innovative design to the Lewis Machine Tool MARS-L to the MWS platform. Left or right-handed shooter, it doesn't matter as the MARS-H offers ambidextrous controls that include a selector, a magazine release that is machined directly into the receiver and has been designed to function as ergonomically as possible.Ê
The 2-stage trigger is designed in a way that it allows the user to know the exact point of firing which creates a smoother trigger pull, couple that with the ergonomically molded grip and you have improved accuracy.
A smart design is the winter trigger guard which creates more space in the trigger area making it user friendly when wearing gloves. The SOPMOD buttstock is grafted from durable polymer and has some noteworthy features such as the rubberized buttpad for a more comfortable, non-slip surface in your shoulder pocket. LMT MARS-H lower receivers are only guaranteed compatible with the LMT upper receivers which means that other brands may not fit or function correctly.
