Could one of you “experts” out there explain to me why this demands a $2700 price tag? Pretend for a second that it doesn’t have a little iron cross stamped on to the receiver…

Nothing, they’re just an overpriced company, always have been, their guns might be good, but you can get the same thing for $1000 less and maybe with some more inventive features

They’re not even gas-piston ARs either. Just DI. Their BCGs are just Rubber City Armory BCGs with a noveske logo. Their billet stripped lowers are cool but not nearly worth the $350-$500 they charge for them. They’re barrels are good too but overpriced. You could save yourself $500-$1000 and get something better like a DDM4 V7 or POF 416.

Right on, I would like to own a POF 416 10.5in or 14.5in sometime in the future, they seem to make really inventive gun designs for a relatively Low price.

Yeah there are other innovative brands out there too like PWS, Adams Arms, and Battle Arms Development that understand that not everyone has $3K to spend on a rifle. I wasn’t all that impressed with KAC either relative to their price tag.

I’ve wondered about KAC, some people swear on them like the Bible, there are expensive as hell and the parts are too, what didn’t you like about them?

Nothing really, the fit & finish were nice and it seemed well-built. I’m just not sure why they cost so much.

I gotcha, it’s probably just because they’ve been used in the military and people will pay it, did it shoot well? Was it as reliable as people say?
