The Aero Precision PRO 5.56 AR-15 Bolt Carrier Group is a high-quality addition to your existing rifle or as the building block for your next AR build project. Aero has manufactured the PRO Bolt Carrier Group with purpose and has designed it with components to increase durability. The bolt is heat treated and machined from 9310 steel. While most bolts have a swagged cam pin channel that removes material in the manufacturing process, making them weaker, the PRO features a counter bored channel which also eliminates the need to force the pin and avoids a common failure point for bolt carrier groups. The cam pin is also indexed which ensures that it is properly staked during assembly/disassembly and doesn’t wear unevenly during operation.
