Here are direct quotes I received from Cheaper Than Dirt's customer service department recently after they cancelled my order three days after sending me an order confirmation... Quote "nowhere on our site do we guarantee prices" and "we reserve the right to cancel orders at our discretion". Want to buy something from these folks? Need psychological counseling too? I had heard real horror stories about these folks and stayed away initially, but then naively I strayed on a "real deal" only to be educated by reality of their business practices. Beware. These guys don't care about you as a customer.

maybe not, but some times they have killer deals. I ordered an IAC hawk, which is nearly identical to these, and got it for an incredible price, and it showed up quickly.

its tough to expect a great price, great customer support, and consistency/speed. pick 2.

Agreed, they do offer some good looking deals. And also agree that when you go the to rock bottom priced retailer you should expect things to be rock bottom in more ways than one. I am glad you have gotten a good deal from them. Most of us cheap dirt haters have at one point in our past also. But just like playing Russian roulette you are going to lose eventually. Keep pulling the trigger on their deals and I'm afraid we'll see you posting comments like mine. Sincere good luck to you, hope I am wrong. Remember that there is a lot of cheap dirt hiding that rock bottom. It also smells awfully like manure instead of dirt.

I guess they ran out. I bought a shotgun from them on Black Friday and had it a week later.

Sorry you have had such a bad time with CTD. I just purchased this shotgun last week @ 140.80. It took 5 days from my order to pickup @ my FFL. Not sure what happened in your case.

If you are able to purchase this shotgun it's a great buy, and the shotgun is everything I was looking for in a home defense weapon.

Good Luck

I will gladly pay cabelas $25 for one box of .22 rather than drive over to ctd to ask what a box of the same .22 cost from them. I stopped opening those catalogs they would send out. They once advertised $200 for the same box that's now only $25 at cabelas. To cover their asses & not look like such gouging bastards they no longer advertise the price of .22 in their catalogs

I understand that people don't like CTD for many reasons, but let's be honest; EVERYONE has price gouged with ammo over the past few years, and whoever didn't price gouge never had any in stock.

Holiday, No disrespect intended, but Cheaper than Dirt will never see one red cent from me, ever.

And yes, others did price gouge, but CTD took it to a new level.

It's going to be a LONG long time for people to forget about CTD's $99 PMAG, and that's just one product. I don't shop at vendors that have predatory practices. If you want to support that vendor, then so be it.

Yup, I'm one of those who don't like them for 'other reasons'. But the economics of the ammo shortage work just like the economics of *any* shortage. All those pointing the price gouging finger would do the same if they had an abundance of something that suddenly became extremely scarce!

I'm more than happy to have purchased this shotgun for $200 from another retailer who actually gives more than zero f*cks about its customers. Get ready to see all sorts of crazy low deals from these dirtbags as they try to make up for what I can only imagine are millions of lost dollars thanks to greedy and unethical sales practices. Great shotgun, but wouldn't buy it if it was $35 at CTD.

feel the same way you do CTD took advantage of their price gouging with the 22 lr ,9mm,223 ammo when things were bad . now they want to lower the prices to get business Cabelas ,GanderMountain sold ammo at regular price back in 2013 in the hight of the ammo suppy issue..check this video on you tube i found .22 lr ammo and ctd type in youtube bar ojj456uk74w thats the video

F*CK CTD, I see that they have had to resort to dropping prices to try to win back customers. I hope they go bankrupt. I wouldnt buy firearms from them for $135 per DOZEN> $60 pmags and $1500 cases of m855. they can eat a bag of Ds.

F#CK CTD they just canceled my Friday saiga order after an email stating that item ready to ship once FFL copy received even though they received that info Friday and they already have a current copy on file since my FFL has received items from them since they got this years renewal, then today/Monday my order was canceled saying out of stock at warehouse when at the time of purchase there was more than 10 in stock when I checked inventory on the website. NEVER AGAIN CTD!!!!! Customer service said the website inventory is not accurate. Well I actually own, maintain and service my own website and that response is bull.

Thank GOD another company CLASSIC FIREARMS actually had the inventory correct and guess what, my FFL received that SAIGA today and it was ordered Thursday night!!! Talk about fast service and a great company, I'll be buying from Classic more often.

Man, I feel your pain. They did the EXACT SAME THING to me, too. Got my Saiga 74 order in as soon as news broke about the ban, and got as far as "processing in our warehouse" before getting the BS store of them being OOS.

The biggest BS was that it went out of stock after I ordered, then came back in stock before going out of stock once again. So their excuse of not having the inventory is a flat-out lie.

Trust me, you'll see the same firearms reposted within the end of the week at a ridiculous markup. I now join the legion of folks burned by CTD.
