This sight was $40 last week. Wait a bit and you may save.

Are you sure you're not thinking of this Riton red dot sight? - https://gun.deals/product/riton-optics-1x23-x1-tactix-ard-red-dot-sight-8999...
I've seen that one advertised for $40

Arrived today. This site is worth maybe $40. It's light, I like that there is off next to each setting, but it's nowhere near bright enough. Nothing special, at all.

To each their own. IMHO, It's worth the $90 they're asking - especially if you're in a state where Bereli doesn't have to charge tax and it's free shipping. As for weight, this is 9.5 oz. A Romeo5 is 5.1 oz. I wouldn't call it light for a red dot.

Yeah no tax was nice. sight itself weighs 5.3ozs without the mount. I'm using a single vortex 30mm hunter ring for a mount.

I'm looking into buying this or another model of Riton Optics. Does anyone actually own one or similar and if you do, what's your thoughts and opinions? I'm seeking answers from true, actual Riton Optics owners. Last where these made? Thanks

I've got one of their 5-25s for a great price and it's good glass.

I own two currently, and have owned two others previously. They’re very good optics for the money. Compared to the Sig Romeo 5, you gain (subjectively) a better field of view and clearer glass, but you give up shake-awake technology and battery life. Best part of this optic compared to other models without the shake-awake feature is this activation knob has an off setting between the brightness settings. This means you can store the firearm in the “off” setting between two dot brightnesses of your preference. Way better than needing to turn a knob all the way from off to your desired brightness.

Both Sig and Riton have great warranties.

Anyone put this on a 10/22? I'd like to retain use of stock iron sights.

Cheek weld with this optic on a 10/22 is gonna suck. The mount is designed so the optic can be mounted on a 12-o'clock traditional AR picatinny rail with cheek weld in alignment with the rail. 10/22 has a lower cheek weld.

Ordered one anyway. If it doesn't work out I'll stick it on something else. I'm more worried about sight visibility than cheek weld, w/o a riser that sucks on a standard 10/22 with optic anyway.

You may be able to find a 1” low mount that you could swap the dot enclosure to instead of the included high rise mount.
