The Veritas was made to give you the ability to experiment with different setups and adjust for different situations without having to buy and carry several carrier models. The package’s namesake, the Veritas Plate Carrier, is a lightweight Nylon carrier compatible with all 10”x12” Ceramic and Steel trapezoidal plates. It sports several features that allow for customizability: First among these options is the ability to attach a skeletonized cummerbund (upgrade available in package), but another is our Abdominal (ABS) pouch, which utilizes our steel or soft armor to add another 9.5”x6” area of coverage below the carrier’s standard area. For more ammunition close at hand, the Kangaroo triple mag pouch can also be used in the Veritas Kangaroo Pouch.Our Level III Plus Lightweight ASC plates (flat and curved base coat) are tested to defeat .223/.308 WIN rounds, 5.56 M855 penetrators, and 7.62x39/7.62x51/5.56 M193s all at bullet speeds of up to 3,000 feet per second. These steel plates are capable of stopping several shots without shattering or buckling like other materials. Included in this package are Trauma Pads which are to be worn behind a plate to protect you from the blunt impact of the bullet.The Multi-Caliber Rifle Magazine Pouch accommodates all common rifle magazines and is capable of accommodating magazines such as 5.56x45 (.223), 7.62x39 AK, or 7.62x51 NATO (.308 Winchester). In comparison, the Multi-Caliber Pistol Magazine Pouch accommodates all common pistol magazines in single or double stack form, from .22LR to .50AE, and everything in between- even Five-Seven. That being said, it’s the perfect companion to our Multi-Caliber Rifle Magazine Pouch.The AR Battle Belt, available in four sizes and colors, is a waist belt that can be equipped as either a simple waist belt, a standard duty belt, or a full-on war belt depending on which of the three included parts you use. Its primary material is Cordura® nylon, while Velcro® is used to attach the three parts securely, and durable ITW-Nexus buckles are used for each part of the belt.
