Dunno if it's worth your consideration, but a BCG and CH is included with Optics Planets' own house brand "TRYBE Defense" complete upper currently priced at $279.99. I've read that it is 100% American made. I don't have any personal experience with the brand. I bought one of these a few years ago. Paid 280.00 back then with bolt. It has been solid and accurate. Didn't like the fact that mine was put together during their illegal labor use days but it is as I said...solid and accurate. The finish on mine was really good. Much better than the pics show here. Mine also came with the vortex looking flash hider. Along with my 5.56 upper on the Stag I'm gtg on the 2 most popular and probably available cartridges on the planet.
How reliable is it on your Stag lower? I’ve heard nothing but horror stories about shooting 7.62x39 out of the standard AR-15 platform. Which is why I’ve been giving the PSA KS-47 a closer look. But if there’s a reliable AR-15 version + reliable mags for the 7.62x39, I’d rather go with the latter.
Just a heads up, price reflects quality, “nitride”on hand guard wipes off with ur hand. Feed ramps looked good on my 556 SOCOM variant. Will report back after extensive range day. Everything is torqued correctly. Time will tell.
