When did they discontinue it? I bought one within the last 6-8 months (I think)
around Christmas... I had one on order and other parts showed up but not the saw. When I contacted them they said it was discontinued. Bought mine off Amazon but since then the price has skyrocketed.
Get the harbor freight chop saw, rig a jig, and get the WFT, you can do 300 in an afternoon pretty easy.
Harbor Freight no longer carries that chop saw. I wish they did.
PharetH, thanks for posting that. I just bought a Blackout rifle and wanted to convert some .223 brass. I knew about the Harbor Freight saw, but had read they were discontinued before I could buy one. I did not want to pay gouge prices for one either.
it can be found on Ebay, for more money of course. Amazon has them too, for even more still. But by doing your own brass you can make up the savings pretty quick. I'd second the WFT (World's Finest Trimmer) and also recommend the Sheridan slotted case gauge too - it helped me find a cases that were not to spec and needed more trimming before they became an issue.
