Prepare yourself for battle with the limited-edition Alpine Valkyrie armor carrier, colored white like the mountain range it was named after.Our Valkyrie carrier is 100% designed, sourced, and manufactured in the United States, and features everything you could expect from a top-grade carrier: Dual admin pouches (compatible with our Kangaroo magazine pouch insert), a fully adjustable cummerbund, and generously sized Velcro ID panels all come as standard to the Valkyrie. It also comes with a collapsible handle for easy transportation in between missions.The Valkyrie is compatible with all standard 10”x12” hard armor plates. Its principal material is the durable and lightweight Cordura® 500D Nylon, with bar-tack stitching at all stress points and quick-release buckles with laminated Nylon covers.The accompanying Level III Steel plates, unlike ceramic or polyethylene alternatives, are capable of protecting against several direct hits while still being less bulky than competing materials. They also have been independently tested in accordance with NIJ 0101.06 threat levels, meaning they are rated to stop 7.62x51 M80 NATO Ball (.308 Winchester) at a velocity of up to 2,780 FPS, and special threat tested to stop 5.56mm M855/SS109 (Green Tip) at a velocity of 2,780 FPS.
