The 509T has an RMR adapter in box so why not just use that plate?

Did you not look at Caniks website where it lists that it only fits the micro sized red dots like the rmrcc and shield footprint before you purchased?!? Or did you buy one and then tried to fit the 509t and was surprised? I still don’t know why Canik decided to make the mete only work with smaller footprint red dots, very dumb idea on their part. I have the original TP9SFx and the plates literally fit almost any dot on the market.
