The Savage® 110 Apex Hunter XP Bolt-Action Rifle comes ready for deer hunting, with a factory-mounted and bore-sighted 3-9x40mm Vortex® Crossfire II scope. The scope is securely mounted to a 1-piece EGW 0-MOA rail using Vortex Hunter medium rings. Dead-Hold BDC reticle allows you to quickly compensate for bullet drop from field shooting positions. The reticle's hashmark design reduces guesswork on holdover and windage. The 110 Apex Hunter comes with a synthetic, sporter-style stock that adjusts for length-of-pull. Savage's AccuTrigger® is user adjustable to obtain a light, crisp release with no creep; and a lever mounted within the trigger body blocks the sear unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center. The basic bolt design assures that the locking lugs fully contact the receiver, holding the headspace to a minimum every time the bolt is locked. The tight headspace contributes to the excellent accuracy Savage rifles are known for. The matte-finished, sporter-weight, carbon steel barrel features precision button-rifling. The 110 Apex Hunter XP bolt-action rifle utilizes a 3-position receiver tang safety that's easy to reach with the shooter's thumb, and allows the rifle to be loaded and unloaded in the safe position. A detachable box magazine provides quick and safe reloading and unloading.
