I've been wondering, what's the difference between "brown bear" vs. their "silver bear" ammo line?

In the description of this product (Brown Bear) it clearly states "Lacquered steel case."

Silver Bear (same maker) states "Zinc-plated steel case."

How does one get the cheaper price or join the club?

I dunno about you, but when I see brass cased 9mm available for about the same cost per round, I can't bring myself to buy this. The way my brain works, steel cased 9mm should always be about 4 or 5 cents a round cheaper than brass, or it's not really a bargain. Example, Fiocchi available today...new...with brass case at 11.99/50. That's only 1 cent more per round.

I totally agree. Just yesterday on this site, there is brass 9mm reman for $204 for 1000 rds or new brass 9mm for $213 with free shipping. It's still available and both are cheaper than this by a few bucks. Did I mentioned they are brass cased? Just search yesterday's posts.

I picked up this up. I had a $20 off $49 coupon from a previous order that was cancelled on me. So basically after shipping this came to $52. Can't beat it. Ordered yesterday, shipped today, coming tomorrow. Can't ask for more.

Sigh.... this should be $.18/rd or less. The Guide used to sell 500rds of brass S+B in a metal can for $105. Keep the faith, we'll get there

I have ordered it twice, and both times gotten an out of stock notification immediately afterwards. Whoever keeps posting this as in stock needs to stop.
