I like mine, bought used for $400 and have always had a ton of fun with it, friends always love it as well. Word to the wise, the firing pins tend to mushroom very easily, and the firing pin springs tend to weaken quickly. Long hunter shooting supply has great replacements for both. Winchester white box 12 gauge has hard primers and if the firing pins have mushroomed and the springs have been weakened, it becomes apparent when using this ammo, but other than that it eats any ammo I put through it. I think brand new for $450 with shipping is a good enough price to buy at for sure.

You can throw bullets by hand for free, but at some point you have to consider that cheaper doesn't mean better. You're comparing an infamously garbage subgun to one of the most popular and successful subguns in history. There's a reason that one of them is a few hundred bucks and the other is a couple thousand.

The biggest mechanical reason is the fact that these are delayed blowback instead of straight blowback like cheap 9mm AR's. If you compare these to delayed blowback AR pistols, they actually aren't priced all that bad. For example, CMMG's delayed blowback AR pistols are around $1,599, and Angstadt arms has one that's $2,500. You can't just compare 9mm to 9mm with no other considerations.

This is a great price for the VP9L OR... I picked up a VP9LB awhile back, the "B" is for button style mag release, instead of the standard HK paddle style mag release. Mine did not have the OR (optics ready) which I sorely regretted to the point that I bought the VP9 OR slide kit ($500), and then sold the original non-OR slide online for $450. So now I have the VP9LB OR, with 3x20rd mags, and it is awesome!

$17 for shipping a few oz package is a tragic move for Botach. Sad. The thread comparing to the Acro is a mistake. I went through a class with all professionals (LE) who used all kinds. The single Acro in the class was brand new and didn’t survive 600 rounds. Didn’t even drop, just cracked on the slide. Pretty awful from a company like Aimpoint. And as much as we would hate the Holosun ties to PRC, they make an outstanding optic for the cost. Several guys preferred the window size to the RMR. Hard to beat for the cost. I have a 509T, 507k, 2-507c, Sig Romeo 1, and 3-RMRs. Hard to justify RMR money for most people when the Holos just work. YMMV
