This second version AR-15 bolt carrier group from Alpha Shooting Sports features significant refinements such as smoother bearing surfaces and an improved AR15 extractor system. Alpha Shooting Sports also engineers the BCG V2 with improved carrier geometrics representing the ultimate in bolt carrier groups for an AR-15 platform semi-automatic rifle. The bolt of the carrier group is machined from 9310 steel and MPI tested and marked, while the carrier itself is machined from 8620 steel featuring an extractor machined from S7 tool steel. Bolt machined from 9310 steel and MPI tested and marked. Carrier machined from 8620 steel. Shot peened precision ground diameters. Magnetic particle inspected and laser marked. Extractor machined from S7 tool steel. Crane extractor O ring to boost extraction clamping force. Gas key machined from billet 4140 with grade fasteners and staked to mil spec. Chrome plated firing pin per mil spec.
