Orchid Defense Group 5.56 M16 Bolt Carrier Group is coated in a black nitride finish to prevent carbon build up and ensure that your rifle keeps functioning. The carrier is heat treated and given a final finishing grind before plating assembly. The bolt is also shot preened and heat treated, plus is coated in black nitride. The 4140 steel gas key is properly staked and seated with extra strong Grade 8 fasteners. A 4140 Cam Pin is nitride treated for increased wear resistance.
