Hi-Point

American gun company Hi-Point firearms is located in Mansfield, Ohio. Hi-Point semi-automatic pistols have polymer frames and a blowback design at their foundation. Although blowback weapons often require additional weight and size than locked-breech guns of the same caliber, the fixed barrel of a blowback gun generally contributes to increased accuracy. Hi-Point pistols need a small punch or a screwdriver and a hammer to remove a pin from the receiver, which allows removing the slide, and thus, field-stripping. The Hi-Point pistol-caliber carbines also operate on an easy direct blowback system. Because Hi-Point guns are made primarily of polymers and alloyed metals, their manufacturing costs and retail prices are minimal.
