The BP9CC, the BP9CC X, and the BP380CC are the three models that Bersa offers in its BP series. The "CC" stands for "Concealed Carry", and the X model features a threaded barrel. It is a polymer-frame striker-fired handgun with features designed to satisfy shooters' wishes for a shootable but compact weapon. By making the handgun load single-stack rather than double-stack magazines, Bersa was able to slim down the weapon. The 3.3-inch barrel of this handgun has polygonal rifling. A Picatinny accessory rail is incorporated into the high-impact polymer frame to allow for the installation of different light and laser components. The frame has been decorated with wedge-shaped, pebble-textured marks above and beneath the square trigger guard. The compact, textured grip frame is long enough for a full three-finger grasp, and the magazine release is ambidextrous. The Short Reset Double-Action-Only Trigger is this pistol's unique characteristic. The BP guns contain a variety of safety features: a key-activated slide safety lock, a firing pin safety, and a loaded chamber indicator.
