The Browning 1911-22, chambered in .22 LR with a 10-round single-stack magazine capacity, is a handgun constructed to 85% of the scale of John M. Browning's original 1911 pistol chambered in .45 ACP. This firearm was designed with a sense of duty and precision and rigorously tested to assure accuracy, performance, and the feel you'd expect from a Browning pistol. The 1911-22 A1 model is created to closely resemble the 1911-A1, the original government model. The magazine's design is interesting. The bottom cartridges are single-stacked, while the first few rounds are staggered. Along with certain steel components, such as the barrel, magazine, springs, and other internals, the slide, and frame of the Browning 1911-22 handgun are made of aluminum. The back of the slide has a steel breechblock fixed inside of it. Both sights, the front and rear, are Black A1 sights. Its barrel’s length is 4.25 inches and it is made of steel. The overall length is 7 3/8”. There is also a compact version of this gun and it differs in barrel length, 3 5/8-inch, and overall length of 6 3/4”. The 1911-22 A1 performs smoothly and has an excellent appearance and hand feel. It is an enjoyable gun that should be popular for plinking and pest management. The Browning 1911-22 Black Label has modern pistol features including a beavertail grip safety, composite stippled grips, skeletonized trigger and hammer, and a lengthened slide release (ABS carry case included). Other features include an all-black finish, G10 grips, three-dot sights, two 10-round magazines, and a front strap with a 30-TPI check pattern.
