The 1911 Pointman series is built for the range, with an adjustable target rear sight and fiber optic front (except for the PM-7). Its forged slide has our inverted top rib (except for the PM-7) running between the sights to reduce glare and has front and rear cocking serrations to enable easy manipulation. It comes in a 9 mm, 45 ACP, and a 38 Super caliber. Version PM-7, which is California legal, is different from the PM-9 and PM-45 versions. It lacks the inverted top rib, fiber optic front sight, and front-strap checkering. The version in a 38 Super caliber is New York, Colorado, and Washington state compliant. There is also a PM-C version, where C stands for Carry. It is slightly different from the other models in the Pointman lineup, mainly in its smaller dimensions.
