The USP Expert is a larger, more accurate version of the full-size USP handgun that is intended for target shooting. It was released in 1998 and has all the same characteristics as the Tactical, but the Expert has a longer slide that matches the extended barrel, instead of having a threaded extension that sticks out from the slide. It also has a larger magazine capacity than the original USP thanks to the use of jet funnel magazines. The bigger slide also adds weight to minimize muzzle flips and perceived recoil. Similar to the USP Match, Elite, and Tactical, the Expert includes adjustable target sights, but like the Elite, the rear sight's dovetail is lowered into the frame. It's perfect for shooters refining their target-shooting or tactical skills.
