Description

A team of the finest firearms people in the U.S.A. has been re-assembled to bring to market the highest quality AR type rifle possible. These good Maine folks - all former employees of Bushmaster Firearms - offer many years of experience in the industry, and all look forward to working with you, to serving your needs, and to building you a great rifle. And Windham Weaponry will back up that promise of quality with a Transferable Lifetime Warranty on their rifles.

Windham Weaponry’s HBC model is their “heavy barreled carbine” and a close cousin to the MPC model except for its barrel. The Heavy Barrel profile features more thickness under the handguard area, and a straight machine turning from the sight base forward to the slight step before the muzzle threading. Some shooters feel the heavy profile provides more rigidity and accuracy, but either way its all 100% Windham Weaponry quality.

Accuracy, durability, fit, finish, value, this carbine has it all, and with Windham’s Lifetime Transferable Warranty, you know it will retain its value for years to come.

Bought this rifle few years ago. Had many different ARs including Armalite, Stag (bad quality), Spike's Tactical... Only AR left in my safe is WW HBC. Over 4000 rounds and counting. Incredible accuracy. With IMI 77gr 5.56x45 ammo I am ringing 12 inch plate at 600 yards every weekend using this rifle. And yes it is 1 in 9 twist and yes it is chrome lined. I have cheap Burris Fullfield E1 3-9x40mm scope. At 200 yards this rifle constantly shoots under 2 inch (10 rounds) with the same ammo. I saved at least 3 different targets that show exceptional accuracy of this AR.
I replaced gas rings after 4000 rounds for safety even though the current ones were still running strong.
I chronographed IMI razor core 77gr 5.56x45mm ammo many times out of this rifle and getting 2720 fps on T=31F RH=96% day. Black Hills 77gr OTM and TMK 5.56mm were giving me around 2700 fps at the same day. I only shoot heavy match 5.56 ammo from this rifle since my 600 yard range is usually windy.
I talked to WW since I was curious who makes barrels for them. Green Mountain Barrel company makes initial barrel and rifling but then WW performs additional treatment and inspection on them.
Only change I did was to put CMC 3.5lb trigger that is well worn out after 4,000+ rounds and is around 1.75lb now.
I dealt with WW customer support couple time when buying parts to refresh my current WW AR and when I was looking for 300 blackout rifle (never bought one). Their customer support is exceptional. In my experience Stag Arms has the worst customer support on par with Colt, cannot decide which of the two is worse. Armalite is slightly better and comparable to Spike's Tactical and WW is top notch. They make quality guns and listen to their customers.
And every time company gives you life time warranty you know they believe in their product.

Windham diamondhead version in 300 blkout was my first AR. I know have a safe full of AR's and honestly there's no better quality for the money that I've found. Had a random issue with charging handle which was kinda my fault which I told Windham and they sent me a new in no questions asked. They told me to keep the old one. I have a S&W sport II and it's a great little gun but fit and finish is much different. Not run great but Windham has beatiful deep finish and just feels solid. My only minor complaint and it's being very picky but trigger has a tiny bit of take up. But it's tight and no grit. The only "stock" ar I have ever shoot with better trigger is a Radical firearms which sounds crazy but true. But the fit/finish and every other aspect is night and day.... Maybe I just got lucky with my Radical... Anyways I always like to show some love for WW as they are great guns. I want to pick up their 308. But just got a crazy deal on a new Aero M5 so hopefully I don't kick myself for saving $400 and going that route;)

Range report on the WW-15 MPC. (Same as HBC, just a lighter barrel)
Bought used for $600 cash flat. No transfer fee or tax.
Dealer was told it only had 90 rounds through it, and it looks new.

Was shooting high and right at 50 & 100 yards in tight groups.
Adjusted it to the center, but she still shoots high.
(I didn't have a front post sight adjustment tool with me)
Planning on centering it next time at the range.
Didn't get a chance to shoot 100's and 100's of rounds, but everything cycled through just fine. It was a pleasure to shoot.

Got home and cleaned her up. She's a beauty.
Very happy with this purchase, and I hope others will go look at reviews.
Fit and finish is excellent, as expected. Don't just take my word for it.
Do your research and see what WW owners are saying. :)

Just ordered. After lots of research, Windham Weaponry is the way to go.
This has got to be the most unknown or underrated company.
If you are like me, you completely disregarded this company and ignored it.
The more I looked at user reviews, the more I fell in love.
Honored to own a WW rifle with craftsmanship that will last a lifetime.
A transferable lifetime warranty lets you know how serious they are about quality.

You should at least wait to get yours before you tell everyone how great it is, otherwise, you pretty much sound like a shill.

Just go look at every single WW owner's review and feedback.
I already know what to expect, and what I'm getting. lol
Will update when it comes in, and I get to cycle rounds through it.

Change of plans!! Canceled my order.
Found a local one for $170 less in "used" condition.
Supposedly only 90 rounds through it.

This is not the HBC version though so it's a little lighter.
(Both sell for the same price)
Will be going to the range after I clean and lube this thing.
This is the Windham Weaponry MPC that I picked up.
For a rifle that's "like new" for $170 less, I jumped all over it.
Will do a range report later today. :) :) :)
