FEATURES
Barrel: 14.5" barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO, 1:7 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a mid-length gas system. Barrel is finished off with a PSA 13" Sabre Quad Rail Anodized FDE, Pinned adjustable gas block, and a Surefire Warcomp Pinned and welded.
This barrel is made especially for Palmetto State Armory by FN Manufacturing using their proprietary blend of hammer forged chrome molly vanadium that is referred to as "Machine Gun Steel" by virtue of its use in FN's M249 and M240 weapons. The hammer forging process work hardens the steel, making it more durable. In addition, the chrome process for the bore allows for a lining almost twice as thick as a standard M16 for enhanced durability.
Upper: Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is made to MIL-SPECS and hard coat anodized black for durability. These uppers are T-Marked engraved.
Bolt Carrier Group: Father’s of Freedom BCG by Microbest with Sprinco Extractor Spring and Carpenter 158 MP Bolt.
Lower: Palmetto State Armory complete Sabre M4A1 lower with B5 Sop-Mod stock and Classic grip. Black finish. Marked multi-caliber. Comes Standard with Springco Buffer Spring and H2 Buffer,

Nowhere near in my eyes. Surefire 4 prong, two-piece Daniel Defense RIS 2, fixed Badger block, Colt carbine CL button 14.5 SOCOM profile all pretty much standard fare for the rest of the kit, and usually finished off with KAC sights, Geissele or GI trigger, PRI gas buster, KAC broomstick or Tango stubby. Guys had their choice of stocks and grips, but typically LMT and Colt M4. The RIS, SOCOM profile barrel and various sights were probably the most important parts. Other than that this PSA is a "SOPMOD clone" for sure for sure.
All good points. If they’re going for a complete feature set, I agree that the missing SOCOM barrel profile and unknown durability of the quad rail are the two primary disqualifiers. I see most everyone running the B5 SOPMOD stock these days, as the LMT is unnecessarily expensive. And all the other stuff was operator-dependent.
This seems to be a very solid feature set from PSA, and I wouldn’t hesitate to get one if I was in the market. I’m already enjoying my Block II build (not a clone), so I’m not snatching one up. “A” for effort, PSA.

Seriously, though… I’m sure the quad rail is good, but is it RIS II good…? Otherwise, this just needs a SSA trigger and it’s nearly on-point.
