In stock now. Just not sure I can count on bca to work and keep working with tons of reports of loose screws all over youtube at the least. I want a retro rifle length ar so much

"loose screws?"

LOL. Please let us know which screws come loose on an AR-15 upper. I'll wait ;)

*Side note, this is what happens when people who don't know what they are talking about repeat nonsense they didn't understand from other people who didn't know what they were talking about. I've heard lots of bad stuff about BCA, lots of good too (I own one of their uppers even). Just never heard of any screws being used on any of their builds.....or any milspec AR-15 for that matter. Excluding the single grip screw but last I checked that didn't touch an upper.

Final thought; if you did find a screw...use blue loctite. Pretend problem solved.

Have you looked at PSA, Del-Ton, Aero, Bushmaster, Anderson? Many are made by the same conglomerate I think. Much better quality control and components IMO unless you can spring for a FNH. I've had no problems with my cheap PSA Freedom nitride at 500plus rounds. BCA has been sketchy since day 1. This is a low price for a reason.

Please mention links for comparable products with similar pricing if you indeed want to back up what you have to say. Please mention sources for trashing companies that employ hundreds of people and work hard to feed their families. Kids these days man.

All of the above companies "employ hundreds of people and work hard to feed their families." Kids these days, turning an everyday conversation into some vicious attack against the common man 'jUsT TrYiNg tO FeEd hIs fAmIlY.'

BCA is great, they are a little lower cost but work. But for $30 more you can buy a very similar upper from PSA. Only you can decide if that $30 is worth it. Personally I have been waiting for BCA's 20" A2 Wylde upper to come back in stock but might actually order this PSA version today. I'm in NC so both options have tax but the PSA is free shipping where as the BCA is $30 extra to me. But....the PSA doesn't include a carry handle which (that $30 value) matters to me.

Regarding of PSA vs BCA both have their share of issues. ICE raided BCA's Sanford NC factory (very true) a few years ago and (SUPPOSEDLY) arrested 50+ "suspected" illegals, PSA is run by an (apparent) space laser nut job. One is in NC the other is in SC. Both currently (appear) to employee "hundreds of people and work hard to feed their families." Both make good entry level AR's, PSA's probably being slightly higher quality parts yet poorer QC builds. Based on my current & personal sample size of 2 BCA's and about 10 PSA weapons. Both go boom every time. If you are worried about being called a 'poor' by some idiot at the gun range the PSA has a little more street cred but they also spent millions to buy that cred. I personally don't care what bubba at the range with his assembled by moneys parts kit AK from 1997 thinks...but some do.

BCA probably has 10 times better customer service and offers veteran discounts. PSA's....nonexistent and no discounts. I also like BCA's side charge uppers and they have crazy caliber options. PSA on the other hand has lots of cool PCC's, AK's, and other stuff. Room for both in this world.

Delton, Anderson, etc are just mass producers of (decent) off the shelf AR's. Probably don't belong in this conversation about stealing food from Joe The Plumber ;)

Ha. Well done. I think Woo's nailed it with this explanation, although he has a higher opinion of BCA than I. Was just trying to give 'loose screws' some other easily accessed options when the weirdo 'bl8ze1' chimed in. No worries either way at this price point. Whatever works.
